A bird flew
out
of horizon’s
glare
and perched,
on top
of
the glow.

I wish someone
just once
could help me,
hold up
the sun.

My hands
are too
blistered
to bear
one more
fleeting wish,
alone.

How come
we can
block out
the sun
with one
finger,
like god does
when he
gives us
the murk,
of eventide?

And yet
we can’t even
bridle
the
in betweens
of
daybreaks
elicit
and languish
dreams,
that
loiter
too long
in the
hall
of sightless,
screams?

A flower
flew by
and landed
on your
naked
lap,
I noticed
it was
a butterfly
as I went
to
catch it,
but
it opened
and closed
it’s wings
for a
moment
then
melted,
sweetly,
right into
you.

Living,
is easy.

We don’t
spend
enough time
though
learning,
how to
die
ungratefully.

Tonight
the wind,
wore a hat
reluctantly,
as you stripped
for me
down
to your
breath,
and moon
colored
bones
as my eyes
leaked
winter
for you,
in the
center
of our
exterior
while the
soot
of brightness
bathed
us,
in dry
showers
of shade
and
unheard
secrets.

I miss you
so much
my blood
inside,
is blue,
as it
waits
to push
against
my skin
into
your’s.

I’m so tired
of this
world
of
discreet
and
impossible,
of reason
and
believable,
of
appropriate
and obstacle,
of
afraid,
and regrettable.

Everytime
I walk
by the ocean
the baptism
behind my
eyes
yearns,
to go
home.

I pick up
a handful
of earth,
water,
and wind,
and, I
listen.

I harken
to the
the sob,
of embodiment
as
I release
and watch
the granuales
of
senslessness,
hugging
the shore
of pinkened
sandcastles,
filled
with
emptiness.

As I also
squeeze
and feel
the howling,
of love
and lament,
the night you
built
our first
fire,
as you
rubbed
a long
hard stick
between your
hands
till
your tinder
box
started
to
smolder
and
catch us,
both
in flames.

You are
my
awaiting,
spring.

You fill my
nose
with voyage
and give
me
the taste
of
seabreeze
in my
teeth.

Its nice
how in the
beginning
we had the
ability,
to wish.

Hope
is candy
for the
young,
not for those
ready to
laugh
and to
demise.

Please,
don’t concern
yourself
with me
too much,
I am just
a thought
that never
learned,
to go away.

I am a dried
fantasy
that drowns
you,
with moisture.

I finally
learned,
I can’t have
a
utopia
without a,
you.

I wish someone
just once
could help me,
hold up
the floor
of heaven.

A bird flew
out
of horizon’s
glare
and perched,
on top
of the
glow.

Fly
sweet bluebird,
wings of my
heart,
bring me
the love
that I
lack.

Carry the
wind
of the words
in your
song,
soft
on
the sky,
of your back.

Oh, damn!  Now I'm actually crying!  I suppose that means it's a good poem but I don't want my remaining years to "pass with tears" - probably will anyway so I'll sign off as the cry baby!  Now can we have what I asked for???

Hhahaha... oh gosh Helen, you make me laugh so!

To me that one was about, love, as well as, fondness.

I'm sure something more suitable to your desire will come up soon.

I really have no control over it, seriously

Thanks as always!

Don't you love the awakening of spring, and the endless possibilites of a new love.
The splendor is so fresh and the beauty of it all makes my heart soar.

I miss that too, Richy~

hugs, you~

Just to lovely to be so heartbreaking. Hugs!

This, Richard, leaves me speechless and I simply feel each word and am touched by the emotion and longing of your poetry.

What can I say?  Nothing.  I am absorbing this.
