Flock of Cedar Waxwings

Hey! Hey! Hey! Putting a spring in your step and a song in your heart.

JerryPat ... thank you. I am so eager for Spring. The other day we got 5 inches of snow. However, the birds keep coming and yesterday I saw a Red Winged Black Bird. Very exciting!!

latearrival - These birds are amazing and ravenous eaters. They can strip a cherry or crabapple tree in nothing flat!

They are a bit smaller than a BlueJay but have that same tuft of hair on their heads. However, they are extremely skittish and the slightest noise will send them flying! An amazing sight to see them all take off or land in a tree!

Makes me want to sing "what a wonderful world ...", dear Marti.

So beautiful! Lingering in this moment of tangible Spring.

Love,
Margherita

I love hearing the birds in the morning.  It's one of my favorite parts of late winter.  I also love the piggy Bohemian Waxwings who wallow in the bird seed.
