The noise,
knelt on the ground
serene
on a hush
of bedlam,
finger
of morning
licked
to its breath
smoke of dew
names of god,
the breach of dawn
in repose.

The winds
of bemoaning
drip,
from
a bruising
sky,
branches
brilliant
grow
through the
horizon,
sound
on top of silence
slicing through
a shrill
of stillness,
deaf meadow
with
melody
as quietudes high
of heals
clang
against
one  another
locked
in a temporary
permanance
of fleeting
entangled,
eternity.

All that is
left
of me
is what you
decide
to keep
of my
existence,
tattered shreds
of ambiguity
in the breeze
of your visions
trapped in
fondled memoirs
of questioned
faith
and fantasy,
glints
of
memory
to press back
and weep
upon
a necklace
of words
pierced
into your
humidity,
tears
of misplaced
timidity
to cool
the blushing
regrets
of
restrained
possibility,
a stabbing
notion,
a proof
of
breath
that once
bit
into
your neck
that pulls
now
on the
vastness
of your
trembling
void.

I was never
going
to mean as
much
in life
as in
the spirit
of becoming,
a course
of being,
played out
in glare
a muddy obscurity
of
torn hair
and silent
scream,
choked hearts
and
soles
to the sky,
snatching
my deliverance
in feasts
of flesh,
and famished
throats
parched
with scorching
sparks
of love
and
deviled
lightning.

You are
the
velvety vessels
of my
embodiment,
the forbidden
apples
of my
molten core,
my seeds
have
been sown,
my tomorrow,
lies deep
in the
heaven
of your
within.

Wow, Richard - You are going deeper than deep.  Wonderful poetry.

"my tomorrow,
lies deep
in the
heaven
of your
within."

Brilliant! True too I have no doubt.

Oh, Richard, you're my kinda 'farmer'! ~ within and without!

What a passionate writer ye be! I need a lace handkerchief to dab upon my dampened forehead from the vapors that arise when I read your poetry!

Another good one, enjoyed!
Question for you - I'm curious as to how you write your poems, do you think on it while then write it all down or does it just flow as you write?

Thaks Kat!

I don't know... I just sat down this morning and started with a blank page, a thought here and a thought there, and pretty soon it just kind of creates itself you know.

You just never know what's inside the old melon... thats the fun part, discovering these thoughts that have always been there, that just needed to be born...

Well dang, you make my breath catch and my heart race.
Your poetry is so emotional and so very meaningful.
This is a real beauty, Richy.  I adore your writing more than I can express.

I keep your words close to my heart, because they always lull me,
like the ebb and flow of the sea, they are real and true, with a hint of blues.

Oh Bluesy, I know what you mean about catching one’s breath, you do the same thing to me everytime you write such wonderful things about my scribbles. I’m glad you keep them close to your heart because that’s where they belong. A hint of blues? More then that, believe me.

(((You)))
