For me too sometimes, Sunday
The country of the quiet morning is,
The sun is shy as an angel
And hardly dare to disturb gardens,

A burned-out cherry tree of pink buttons
Try to cross over a wall of roses,
A lilac patient as a woman
Spread soft and attractive perfumes,

Especially we hear comments
Of birds which have never slept
And of tamed lawn mowers,

It is a soft and sensitive Sunday,
And the men put everything in order
Especially in the impertinent blades of grass.

They are afraid of the life, they are afraid of being wrong,
A plane takes off in the blurred distance,
Of what will be made this Sunday which blooms?

I love this Yann - tranquility and peace and such delicate beauty is so often not even noticed, but you celebrate it in this beautiful poetic song.  Thank you.

You make me look forward to tomorrow.  Even if our Sunday is filled with snow.  There is beauty in all seasons - and the birds are singing about longer days of sunlight.

Goosebumps, dear Yann!

And to the peace and splendor of a Sunday morning ... you add that distant sound of an airplane, which evokes sadly the new war of these days that affects us all and causes deep anxiety ...

Outstanding.

Love,
Margherita

Though I usually comment on your poems on the other site, yann, I just have to tell you again how much I like this one.
