Yes, young girl's dreams most certainly do matter. I don't think I ever believed in the man in the moon, but I believe, at an early age, I understood the symbolic reason that there should be one up there.

Thank you all! I love your comments and am grateful to have your all reply.

Our Sophie is 4 and fascinated by the moon. She makes up her own stories about it and asks all kinds of questions. In most children's books, the moon has a face and I think that's where her question came from!!
