This is a poem I wrote when I was feeling very jealous. Miracle: I see her laughing, Giggling, with another guy. All I can do, Is let out a Sigh. For I feel like, ill never be enough. And I cant do anything about it, Im not tough. But Alas, he makes her happy. And I am nothing, but raspy. The fun she has with him, I cant compete. Its the part I dont have, Im not complete. I beleive, she would be happier with him. It seems like keeping her with me, Is a sin. Im in love with her, She has my heart. But I dont think I make her happy, so sadness Starts. I wish jealousy would go away, when its untrue. For she says, shes not intrested, I want to beleive her to. But alas, Jealousy wont go away. But I want to be with her forever. If i may. Its a miracle, Ive made it this far. But all I keep doing, is adding tar. I cant live without her, I would die. But when im with her, I can fly.. Stay with me, forever, for im in love. But, if he makes you happier, fit him over me, like a glove. |

Interesting and relevant write. I'm a little confused, but I can appreciate this because I -think- I've been there, in fact more than once... Perhaps the poet is her "one that got away" (some people seem to need that personal mental rite in order to pass beyond it), or maybe she just doesn't "go fer poets", at least not at this stage in her development. It's no fun being neglected. Keep writing, keep trying!  |
