The world, she lays ill
in tides
that blind
her thoughts afar
they come,
to mind
her eyes amist
her nose
runneth, over
cliffs, of her
lip
skirted issues
liquor distress
malady
of pain,
damsel duress.

My maw
agape
as I catch her
throes
of passion
trapped escape,
a wither of bloom
this swollen
eclipse
a vision less vista
that, sea of
saw,
a pedestal erect,
a drop of
lift
as the frozen
finger
begins,
to thaw.

Tween folds
of heart
and taint of
soul,
the tongue of
days
flickers
whole,
when in syndrome
as they say
sin,
like no other
moist
cliche.

When did the
sheets
of music
cool
when did the
notes
of silence,
rule,
how do your
hands
grip on the
spear,
why does it rain
now
drops
of fears?

Die with me
a million
lives
swallow,
this love
that we
deprive
one day
we
will get it
right,
the river heart
runs red,
this night.

Things have really changed in the space of half a century.
Unfathomable in many ways.
Love really has become just a four letter word in many ways.
This is excellent writing Richy Rich! (remember him, the rich cartoon kid?)

Write on! Don't be afraid to explain some of this to me.....I'm not the brightest light in the sky....smile...

Hello, my friend! I suspect there is a whole 'lotta schtuff' going on behind the scenes than that which is 'fairly' obvious! My mind has been going off in several directions. All of them very intriguing. You are such a brilliant poet and I love your sensitivity and your wonderful use of the English language.
btw, I would like to thank you for the wonderful responses that you wrote to Owl's thread in Announcements about my recent health crises. I was very touched, Dear Rich!

Sending love and a warm hug,
Linda

You have the most wonderful gift Richy, do you even how your words read to those of us lucky enough to lay eyes on them?  You spin them like angel hair into a fine weave, like the dusting of snow that melts upon the heart and falls silent with the knowledge of having been there, to feel so deeply the never ending push and pull, the endless anticipation that too often evaporates into thin air.  With everything you write, I come away riveted by the moments you share, as if I was there.

Always have loved the way your write, Richy~  Thank your for sharing your gifts.

Eric my friend how are you? Yes, change is inevitable isn't it? Some for the good, some for not. My challenge is to make my writing as universal as I can, whether or not I achieve that remains to be seen. Yes, Richy Rich has been a lifelong nickname of mine haha. As far as, explaining, my writing, it would mean something totally different for me than it would for you. That is the fun of it all isn't it. Everyone getting a different meaning from the same piece of writing. Thanks for stopping by kind sir, it is always an honor.

Oh my god Linda you're back! How are you dear friend... wow, I can't tell you how nice it was to see a new review from you, just to know that you are that much better then you were recently. Our prayers and wishes have surely been answered. You keep yourself healthy now you hear, I think... you still owe me an open ivitation to come over for a home cooked meal, should I ever be by your neighborhood... do you remember that, some years ago )

One way or another, we will all, finally meet together won't we... all this love on paper, one day written in our own corner of blue sky...

Love you dear friend, thanks for all the nice things you said about the scribble, big, big, hugs to you too as well!!

Talk soon.
Richard

Oh my gosh Bluesy, your sentiments always have a way of hugging all of the air out of my heart… I’ll never know what I did to deserve all the warm feelings you’ve given me over the years, I guess in the end all that matters is how friends make each other smile and see so many things that they otherwise would never have the ability to, thank you for that, sincerely. I think now, I’m going to go do a cartwheel or maybe jump up a few times, kicking my feet together as I do. Either that, or just sit here for a moment and simply appreciate how nice life can be… knowing someone like you.

Martie, Martie, yes, that is I.

My whole kick, is to write as many poems within a poem, as I can. I would probably faint if someone actually new, what, where, why, when, and who, I was actually writing about... probably because, sometimes I'm not even sure myself.

Thanks sweet friend, do me a big favor okay, and stay adorable??

But then, how could you ever not be?

Richard
