Here I am as times before,
wearing myself out thin
and breathless, suffering
here, I am once again.

Lots of things cause me pain
and take away my air,
singing sweet baby James
to my dog laying there.

Here I am once again
wading quietly in poetry,
trying to recall exactly what
those things just might be.

Pages brimming with despair
and sadness linger way back there.

I find myself now wondering why.
I just shake my head and sigh
yes, how lucky am I?

No how lucky are we for having you here to write of your days?

As ever its the real you, told in a straight forward way, but special, always special Dixie friend of mine.

Thank you for another sparkle on the diamond that is you.

I think we all do some wading.
This is very easy to relate to and honestly expressed.

You're just so good PS.

Wading in poetry is a good thing, when many are wordless to express, you have done so
in this stream of thoughts.

Good morning Dixie Girl. Those kinds of days get one scratching their head and singing the song, "What's It All About, Alfie?" I am always intrigued while reading your internal dialogues. They're raw and real. Take care, Sweetie! Jesus loves you!

Sending a big warm hug your way,
Linda

Dixie, are you sure you're not Sissy Spacek's twin sister? You look just like her! You've never written anything I haven't loved, you are a born poet, me, I gotta pull these words out, kicking and screaming... so glad I read you tonight, its been tooo long!
