Fair to middlin' of nowhere

There is no warmth beside her in the night
She must face them on her own
longing for him and home
No comfort of closeness held tight
she does not complain from where she lies
but you can see the saddness in her eyes
I weep for her and the missing him tonight
that she must endure until
she is healed and well
And when they can finally reunite
and get back in that bed of their own
Their bed won’t be back at their home
But I believe she’ll get through it alright
so long as she can spoon with him
at night in their bed together again

Well, since this subject is near and dear to me, you knew of course you should have issued a hankey alert.

You're mom's a fighter. That's why you are the way you are.
