i watch for the mailman
as a child waits for santa clause
hoping for news from you-
no word comes

you don't know what
you do to me
i am trapped-
a prisoner in my own home

one day you'll return
from africa or germany
or where you've been
to find your little bird
has flown it's cage

There must be a poem in here somewhere.

I guess loyalty can wear thin Faith.
I understand....Good idea for a poem and I enjoyed reading.

Be careful outside that cage. There are danger at every turn. Still, you must go, I can well understand that.
