Oh dear, Jerry, I do hope you will be feeling better soon.  If the doctors there are anything like our doctors here I bet you weren't even told that you might react to the medicine.  My best wishes for a speedy recovery.

JerryPat-I'm so sorry to hear about this.  I hope you will be better soon.

There must be a poem in here somewhere.

Wow, that was scary!  I hope you are feeling better and rested soon.  I wish I could give you and a whole lot of others a nice big slice each of my health.

Thank you both, Faith and Owl, whatever I have doesn't seem to want to let up. Tough.

Hey Old Fella.

I'm sorry to hear this.
Wow, ambulance and the whole deal.
Do they know what caused it?

Really hope you'll be well soon!

Oh yeah, Eric, I collapsed in the parking lot. Didn't pass out, but just couldn't stand, everything was very woozy. Didn't go to the hospital though, by the time they got there I was better, standing and talking, which I couldn't before. They checked my vitals anyway, blood sugar, pressure, etc., everything was okay. Reaction to some antibiotic medicine they figured.

I am sorry too to hear about this scary moment, but it seems you are getting over it. Even though the blood pressure was normal in that precise moment, it could have dropped down before when you felt like fainting.
Medicines are such a risky lot! But then so often they are our salvation too.

Love and speedy recovery.

I've heard of that before. A friend of mine his wife had a reaction to antibiotics and she was several days before she was right again.
You know how they always ask that question at the hospital, "are you alergic to any medication?"
Well she wasn't before that day.
However, she's fine now.

Take care and get some rest.

Yep, they asked me that question, Eric, and now when they ask it again, I'll have to say yes.

I think I am getting over it, Margherita. I'm still sick, but I have moments of energy, so maybe in a couple of days . . .
