OLD GOLD SHADOWS

It was a non-descript moment
in a weak movie,
but the way
that the light and shadow
trapped the crowd
on the screen
into a living picture frame,
celebrated Rembrandt.

Giggles, Alison. Actually, I was busy being enraptured by the database I was developing (yes, I DO mean enraptured) and hadn't bothered to find something worth watching and was ignoring TV, but at that moment, I happened to look up and I saw that scene and I gave instant birth to the poem, as my instant coffee had run out.

Yep, I love a challenge/problem and the elation of finding the solution (often while I am driving my car) makes me do a Hamilton from The A Team - "I LLLLLLLLLLLOVE it when a plan comes together!"
