PLAY TIME
25 February 2011

Don’t get me wrong
my precious Guardian Angels
I love your exquisite sky-paintings
with all my heart
and look for them eagerly every day,
most especially the happy, cuddly clouds;
but I also adore the dramatic, emotional ones
and the scattered-across-the-sky ones;
and the all-cover embracing ones;
and the skies of pure, baby-blue
that reach all the way up to you;
and I am in awe and celebration
of the magnitude of your art
and the multitudinous variety
of cloud shapes and form and colour
and texture and combinations
and the fact that your canvas
is so completely original
every single day;
your messages keep me sane
and they are the reason I breathe
and can smile again;

but,
my sweet, sweet darlings
I want you also to have time
to gallop and bounce and scamper
with joyful whinnies and barks and meeows
through the Heavens
and play with each other
and all your other friends
and spend fun time with God,
my precious angels,
my Guardian Angels,
Flicka, Daisy and Tigger,
so if you every want or need
to take a day off,
for your pleasure
I can handle a messageless sky
for a day.

Thank you, Spiros for feeling so well, my love for, and bond with, my horse, dog and cat in Heaven, and for your beautiful reply.  Lilac reminds me of Fret Not in Sketchbook, one of my many, many favourites.

Dear Diana, I think your beloved Flicka, Daisy and Tigger up there combine their play time joyously with the message time ... And when they perceive your happiness they skip in joy over the vast prairies of paradise.
Wondrous write, my dear sensitive friend!

Love,

Wow! I tried to follow them all through the skies and I'm just tuckered out.
Whew!

Really cute stuff Diana...I enjoyed the read.

Margherita, I think you are probably right.  I hope so because I don’t want them to have all work and no play.  They also show all the newcomers around.

Eric, that gorgeous kitty is SOOOOOOOOOO beautiful and SOOOOOOOOOOO precious and SOOOOOOOOOOOO clever!  The precious darling.

Glad you enjoyed the read, and thank you for the DELIGHTFUL response!
