To whom can I think of
If you are not by my side,
what can I think of
If the sun ignores my thoughts,
If my shadow gets lost far from you,
If the night falls in my hands
And the spider undoes its cloth,
To whom could I think of
If you are not close from me,
The springs of water are rare
But the happiness has only one spring,
to what can I think of ?
Only the sea consoles me,
Its horizon is somewhere else,
Its waves are sisters,
to what can I think of?
In the thunderstorm my foster brother
Which takes the sacred trees,
I and my dreams are lost,
to what can I think of
If you are not by my side?

This is very, very beautiful, Yann, with such lovely images - I especially loved the one about the spider.

Dear Yann, I do love your thoughts which rise longingly from your core in the absence of your special spring of happiness.

Most beautiful. The feeling of being lost is an illusion, as you understand through the connection with the sea ...

Love,
Margherita

Lovely Yann
The waves of emotion so well expressed in this piece.
Yearning pleading but wonderfully liberating.

yann,

You touch me so often with your poetry - and this poem is no exception.  I am happy that you are here at PiP and I get to see the world through your eyes and feel longing through your heart.  You have a beautiful heart, my friend.
