It was the shadow,
morning-dew soft
and flying-air-sharp,
that knew
the arc-dancer
with compass perfection
and Monet imperfection
and long-ago scripts
and the windows up.

Thank you, Spiros. Yes, I have noticed your use of ‘wild’ elsewhere, and I love it – and I love the fact that you have used it for my poem. Yes, I do know that you love my poetry, and that makes me happy.
