.

What are they
Still searching for

These lambent moments
There on the shore

Moving
Over broken bottles
Dead fish and empty
Aluminum cans

Even now
On a night like this
The smell of the sea
Is rancid with debris
And yet here they are
As so often before

Casting no shadows
The wind passing through

Looking for whom
Under an autumn moon

Ah, methinks they may be looking for you, my friend.

Enjoyed the scene you projected.

Or perhaps we are the ghosts and they see right through us....

I liked this one.  Reminds me standing on a beach in Mexico, long before the violence broke out and there was only some chaos... at night you never wanted to be out at night.
