Sleet stinging windows
Robin hunkering down low
Somewhere a sun shines

I guess that "somewhere" is here, Karilea. At least until tomorrow when it is supposed to start raining again.

Yes indeed, it is shinning down here in the swamps.

Where I live this is the time of year that when the sun shines it usually gets colder so I'm torn.
Let's win a big lottery and give every member of PIP an all paid vacation and we'll all meet somewhere on an island in the south seas.
I'll buy everybody some of those drinks with the umbrella in it that has some sort of fruit juice mixed with a real nice tummy warmer.

Sound OK?

a cloudy wet day
in the Louisiana swamps
the sun is not here

Yesterday's sun teased
we saw elbows and cute knees
Sun's behind clouds now

Thanks, Martie...

And here we are again, Lori...knowing that the sun is out there somewhere!

How's it going today, Ida? A weather report, please?

Jerry...much like anywhere else in the nation, every state has to take it one day at a time...thanks for the addition!

Steaven, you must be somewhere that the sun always shines!

Yann, Kate...thank you both!

Eric...now I can't get the Beach Boys' song out of my head: "Aruba, Jamaica gee I wanna take ya to Bermuda, Bahama...c'mon pretty mama..." and that's not such a bad thing...

love it.The robins left my mid east Florida yard last weekend. They had been all over the place for over a month. Today is warm but windy so all we worry about is the wind  causing  the fires to flare up. I am fine where we are.The fires have been south of us. But I well remember the last huge one when we all had to evacuate. Keep the sun shining Sunshine!  jo
