So, how do we fit them all in
in this book
this book of life

these friends, these loves and lovers
that come and go
all for a short time as we go on our way

do we include them
do we pass them away
do we forget the tales of loves lost
as we move on our way

we start again
we pick up the pieces
we pick up the pen

what do we include
as we write our story
from beginning to end

I believe that they all we have met along the way, have their place in our book of life, even those with whom we only had a passing word, and those who brought us pain.

The little starlight moments are the ones that require the most intricate and delicate brush strokes so that they are not hidden behind the eclipse of the sun displays.

I love your beautiful poem that set me pondering . . .
