Darling daughter of my heart

Open is the cage that kept me locked

Notice how my freedom is your door

Ever in my heart needs nothing more

Dear Martie,

Your poetry has touched me deeply, escpeically your poetry about your daughter, Michelle.  I don't have children so can't comprehend the pain a Mother has at the death of her child; however, I have seen my Mother grieve for her son.  I know that even though time has eased some of her sorrow - what she feels is only felt by another Mother who has gone through the same thing - and I know that while the pain has eased, it remains with  her.  It is part of her.

I am thinking of you.

Tears for your pain, Martie, and smiles through the tears, for your courage and freedom.  Michelle will be happy that you can now fly.

(Thank you for letting us know in Linda's messages, that it is Margherita's birthday so that I could send her an electronic birthday card.)

Hugs and lots of love

I was thinking that too, Martie.  Margherita is such a wonderful person, so worthy of being born on the same day of the year that Michelle ascended into Heaven.

Lots of love and hugs

Beautiful poem, Martie. Touches my heart more than you can imagine. My own daughter would have been 45 on February 17th.

I am sure they have met in Heaven and are the best of friends while being the Guardian Angels of their respective mothers here on Earth.

Dear dear Martie, the imagery in this and the deep meaning are exceptional. You and Michelle fly together in the immense open space of your souls.

Your words on my behalf express sensitivity and love that reach beyond the visible, they are tangible deep in the heart and move me to tears.
You create a connection beyond time and space that makes me pause in awe.

Thank you, dear Martie, from the bottom of my heart.

Thank you, dear Diana too. You weave silverthreads from one to another where the energy of love travels at high speed and brings joy.

Love and hugs to both.

That says it all!  You weave the love so beautifully, Martie.
It is evident, your hearts are surely one!

Thank you, Margherita.  I am very touched at your response to me in this very, very special Michelle poem of Martie's.
