PERFECT LOVE

The first time I saw him
I wanted him
Even before he saw me
Love at first sight
Clique, I know
He was handsom, yes
Smiling at me
With glass green eyes
And red flowing hair
His eyes spoke to me
Without saying a word
And I knew he love me
Like no other had
I loved the quiet times
We spent together
Snuggling on the couch
Laying his head upon my chest
Softly humming a song
In his own special way
And I couldn't resist
Running my fingers thru his hair
His name is Bailey
And he's purr-fect

To live is to love
To love is to live

I LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOVE this!  I didn't catch on as soon as Eric - in fact, I needed the purr-fect!  And then it all made sense and I read it again once I knew Bailey.

Meeows and purrs and cuddles and kisses to Bailey from me; meeowy words and purrs from Cleo to Bailey; happy come-play-with-me woofs from Benji to Bailey;

and thanks to you from all of us

This is such a tender and loving poem.  I can relate so well though my babies are dogs.  I love every word of this wonderfully written poem, especially the last line.  Great wonderful poem, Kat!

There must be a poem in here somewhere.

Eric, Owl, and Faith - Glad you like my poem about my kitten Bailey, he's a Red Persian who was rejected by his mother. The vet thought he would die but I bottle fed him and he was a fighter. He's now 4 months old and he thinks he's king of the house! ( well maybe he is  but don't tell my other cats) LOL! Purrs from Bailey!

Kat...red hair? You must supply
a photo! I don't know that I've ever
seen a red-haired purr-fect cat!

But I can't wait!

Dogs...cats....birds....fish...and more...

all my downfall!

Sunshine- Red Persian cats are really a deep orange in color. Why they call them red I don't really know but they a striking to see.
I don't know how to post pictures but I would like to learn how.

Thank you from the bottom of our (Benji and Cleo on Earth, and Flicka, Tigger and Daisy in Heaven, and me) hearts for saving Bailey - and also for the details about him - he sounds gorgeous and is obviously so very precious.  Now, what about some poems - or at least news - of your other kitty cats?

Owl - thanks for inquiring about my other purr-babies. I have 4 cats.
Harley - 7yr male Himaylan-Persian with lynx point markings. He's big and beautiful and like most Persians, just a cuddle-bug.
Sophie - 4yr female Tortoise shell (Tortie-point) Persian (Bailey's mother).
Trouble - 2yr male Maine Coon. His real name is Dexter but he's sooo busy and into everything that he got the nickname Trouble.
Bailey - 4month male Red Persian
I'll post pic when I figure out how.

Thanks for the info, Kat.  They all sound lovely and I know they are.  Poor darling Dexter, being called Trouble, but as long as you do it with affection in your voice, I don't suppose it's too bad, but still . . . (Smiles).

I love your name for them - purr babies.  I learned fur babies from Kate, and now purr babies from you!  I am sure you won't mind if I use that name too, will you?

I distinctly remember answering about precious, cuddly, kissable, darling, beautiful, cutie-pie little Bailey's photograph, but I don't see it here - oh, I remember - Kat, you put in a posting for Sunshine and me - and I replied there.  I thought for a moment I must have lost my Internet connection as I went out or something and it didn't get saved, but I answered in the other thread.  However, I am SO glad you put it in here too, as it is SO appropriate.  I came back to enjoy Purrrrrrrrrrrfect Love and there was his photo in here.  Yes, of course, your message halfway down saying that you had learned how to get His Tiny Little Majesty's photo in confirms I haven't lost all my marbles (yet)!  I am rambling.  Thank you also, Kat, for the posting for Sunshine and me to see it.  He is soooooooooooo precious.
