A LOOK, A SMILE, A TOUCH, AND A KISS Should I write you a poem Or a love letter for this day (Valentines Day) To tell you my thoughts and feelings Of how you fill my heart in every way All these years we've loved and lost Only to find one another once more All it took was a look and a smile For my heart to unlock it's door You awoke past memories of lost love Found deep within my hearts mind Things that I had forgotten and buried Of a love, I thought not truly mine I didn't know what was missing My heart was an empty hole All it took was a look and a touch To know you were part of my whole I love you for who you are And what you are making of me You have done more than anyone or anything To make me unbelievably happy We have a rare second chance at love And to share your dreams is my goal All it took was a look and a kiss To know you are the mate to my soul Love Karen To live is to love To love is to live [This message has been edited by katahdin (02-18-2011 05:42 AM).] |
