you were of gauze and velvet pen with fragile glass inside and you said you were empty but needed to be broken before you could be free to fly I spent my sigh words like coins in the slot of your hungry bandit pressing them into your brim making your eyes light up as each one found a trigger your heart was there too but deeper under the fabric I nudged it gently on purpose and your fingers closed quickly keeping me inside and outside too while I waited for your submission ___________ daark |
