Iced Tea

soon the sun-starved skies
will be filled with hungry birds
glass filled with iced tea

AHA! Springing your way into the season with a lovely, huh? Great job!

I'll tempt fate...after last week's 11" of snow and 10 degree temps, we ARE tempting Mother Nature with 68 degrees today and clear warm skies with the robins going full tilt in song!

This is lovely!

I took our dog for a walk this noon and the birds wee chirping away. I got so excited but I know winter is not over yet.

Thanks for your kind comment!

faithmairee, I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I can't wait for Spring. It's been a loooong cold, snowy winter here in New England.

Nareena, It is just beautiful today and it also gives me lots of hope! I can't wait for the snow to be gone which I am convinced won't be until July!!

Although, the birds are chirping and back at the feeders.

Thank you, Marti

Hi Alison, I can't wait either. What a long winter this has been and it's not over yet. Snow here today off and on but thankfully it didn't amount to much!

I just want to sit in the warmth of the sun and have tea and read!!!

Definitely a hammock! If you talk with Linda, please give her my love and tell her I'm praying and pulling for her.

Thanks so much.
