somewhere among the
cinders and the ashes
you will find
what's left of my heart
after i got burned by you

one day i'll
learn to aim higher
with my choice in men
but right now
i'm still smoldering

when the smoke's gone
and i'm not feeling
quite so vulnerable i may
give love another shot

There must be a poem in here somewhere.

As far as arrows are concerned, it sounds like if you saw this guy again, that you would aim and shoot at him in a... lower postition... !

The heart can burn, but just like forging a sword, it only gets harder, and with a sharper edge.

Very nicely done Faith
