.

Let it go

It is the late hour
The sun’s gone down
And the moon already
Is rising in the east

There is deep snow
On the blue starlit fields
Yet your rooms are warm
And there are no needs

So she still now
Comes occasionally
As always uninvited
With a little time
And patience
Again she will disappear

Don’t encourage her
With a sadness
To match her own

Let evening come
And close the door

.

John, this is sensitively secret and very, very beautiful.  I lost myself in it and didn't want to get out of it.
