SHOES
5 February 2011

It was the way
the shoes
were positioned
at an angle of small degree
with one toe over the other
nonchalantly
as though
they knew
they were a work of art.

Aren't those the same shoes that paraded on the "walk" at the Paris grand shoe extravaganza? I thought so. They are a work of art, Owl, and they know it. Dust them off and put them front and center.

ahhhh....this is one of those apples-of-gold-in-pictures-of-silver images that are not only breath-taking, but inspired as well...nicely done

My feet do that when I take off the shoes.

Love your paint, dear Owl.

Hi Diana

This is elegantly written and the subject matter feels like something Thomas Gainsborough would paint.
