Fair to middlin' of nowhere

The winter trees
huddled together
behind wire fences
Their bone
naked  branches
in sullen colors
brought to mind
photos from
the Holocaust

Damn! Lori. You are putting out GREAT poetry lately. Concise. Shudderingly dramatic.

Quite an emotional write, the starkness is bone chilling, if you will.

You conveyed so much with so few words, not an easy thing to do.

good work!!

I've always admired "Naked" trees. Enjoyed.

You really went in an interesting direction with this one Lori
However, that stark reality is a fitting comparison.

Good writing once again!

Thanks Eric, I'm glad you liked it too.  I had my concerns about the piece but aparently I needn't have worried.
