when the whole world's got you down
and the blues keep coming around
do not fear for i am here
and just for you i'll play the clown

i'll woof woof woof and howl
until i get you to smile
then i'll stop right at your feet
with a red rose between my teeth

Now, my Shih Tzus have just about all of that...except they know better than to go digging around in my roses!

Face to Faith! How wonderful at last to see you. I'm a dog person too, but I think it is the pet relation ship that this speaks perfectly to mentally substitute a tweet for a woof if thats what you got and it still feels right. You made me think of my cat. That felt very good! Nice to meet your kind self

Lori-Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm glad you could appreciate my poem. Funny you should mention tweet as I have a love bird too (her name's etta....i named her after blues legend etta james) and she's a sweetie too...thanks again for your wonderful remarks...
