oh love---
i still can not
believe i didn't
dream up yesterday
(you looked so
handsome and
so happy!)

oh love---
i would not
have thought it
possible that
someone like you
could fall
in love with me

i couldn't sleep
last night because
of you (i kept
thinking about how
nice it would be
to have you near me)

come love
and let me
whisper to you
i will tell you
how today's rain
played a love song
on my window pane
and you turned my
heavy heart into
a light one-
life was never
quite as beautiful
as this, my love!

Love does make is lose control of our senses from time to time, doesn't it, Faith? On the other hand it also heightens our senses. Hardly ever can it find a spot in between, except after years have passed and neither of you have anything to prove to the other and can just live in peaceful bliss.
