only for a moment
as the rain fell on my face
your body long and lean
played on my mem'ry

it was winter once more
i was lying in your arms
that fireplace ablaze
so far away that place
once was known as laurel farms

i was still so unsure
reaching for you in the night
words so softly spoken
as your heart beat close to mine

then the sun came shining
warmed the sand beneath my feet
as quickly as you came
i felt you leave my mem'ry

it was winter once more

Ah, those dreams of the wonderful close times.
Really well written Faith.
However, I don't have to tell you that the hot sand is a nice idea all the way around.
It's snowing like crazy here.

ahhh...the moment, the memory, the melancholy...you've stoked the fireplace of our minds with this one...would 'thanks for the memories' be too cheesy?

Taking advantage of the dreams of yesterday is a nice way to pass a good time. I do it frequently and except for an occasional imp my dreams are fulfilling, as I hope yours are.
