you were some kind of touchable angel
to two different gods over your time
turning them to mortal slowly until later
when you watched them darken in the ground
and you watered them with tears then

now you lean at my window and listen to songs
of how a lady should die with her grace on
making frieds with the pain of her soul
and sipping her posion slowly as if soup
savoring the passing of her mommentary hours

my armor is more plastic than steal reality
and I would bring you flowers and butterflies
if they didn't make you want to stay longer
and nurse each second from what remains living
clutching those moments to your bosom of hope

and speaking love words to your forgivness statues

ms sun..thanks lady..it is an interesting dichotomy...bring soft things and she wants to keep living through the pain...bring cold distance and she wants to move on in search of heaven and the quiet of the warm.

Yes, we are an odd bunch...we try so hard
to be malleable to all needs...and we lose
ourselves in the interim.
