Fair to middlin' of nowhere

He is my trellis
And I the vine
A delicate thing
At the mercy of the wind
Dancing flaming petals incessantly
And should I lose him
My fate to befall
The accursed earth
A blooming briar
Twisted in pain
Beauty
Overgrown
With
Grief

Seems there is always something trying to tear things down. This was very nicely old, Lori.

This is very beautifully written. I loved the imagery.

I adore your analogy and how lovely the vine weaves around your words.

Love those metaphors Lori

If he should ever leave you then like a vine falling to the earth.

Just wonderful stuff!
