ME. In the Shadow of the Mt.

Take me to the land of sunshine!
Deliver me from this blistering cold
Warm beach sand would be just fine
to squish between my toes to mold

Freezing winter is what I've got!
My feet are blocks of ice, frozen to the floor
I need tropical air that blows in hot
to warmly melt my icy core

It's forty degrees below zero!
I'm buried in mountians of snow
Please take me away, you'd be my hero
To anywhere, where no cold winds blow

I give up, winter has won!
Sunny Florida here I come!

Ah gee, can't you take me with you?
I'm stuck up here in COLD eastern Canada
and I need to be thawed out.
I'll buy you some of those little
drinks with the paper umbrella in it, I promise.

LOL Eric! Not going just yet, not until the middle of Feburary. It seems like forever waiting for my vacation.

I hear you Kat. Go south, go south, although even don here we've had our problems with the snow and cold.

I call attention to the second line. I have never, until now, heard the cold described as blistering."
