.

The summer grass
Is green along the lake

The sky is a pale blue
Reflecting colors
A few white clouds
In still water

In silence
The sun’s light
Moves among the trees
As if a woman walking
In passing shadows

Flights of sparrows
Wing their way
To reap green fields

From wooden eaves
A cardinal sings

.

Thanks for sending me on a nature-inspired trip. Lots and lots of great visuals.

I am glad I picked this poem out and read it. It is exactly what I just needed. Peace and beauty so well combined.
