Fair to middlin' of nowhere

He left a note
It was no accident
He hit that wall
That totaled him
With his car

He had a good heart
That showed in his smile
Despite rough times
He was a gentle soul
Seeking light

What pain drove him there
I can only speculate
I wish I could have told him
To hang on and wait
The darkness will pass
And you’ll feel the sun again

He was too young to know
Too young to see
He was too young to go
