She was cherry lipped sweet
She was built like my ol guitar
She became my fan friend because..
She came to me with such honest warmth.
She spoke with sultry solutions to intimacy
She opened her heart and expressed her inner feelings
She said she was an agnostic
She said she was dyslexic
She said she hadn't slept all night becuse
She said she was also an insomniac....
She was so beautiful but such honest confessions painted an image in my mind....

Are you ready for this............
.
.
.
.
.
All I could picture was someone that stayed up all night and wondered if there was a dog!

Just me I guess....~g~

Nor me either, unless you were hoping there was a dog to keep her company, but that still didn't answer who she was.

Hey Lori you caught it. More funny than a riddle. Words within the piece tell the story.

Dear Diana I was trying to be funny.
She's dyslexic, agnostic and an insominiac.

Therefore she might have stayed up all night wondering if there was a dog, God spelled backwards.....Many thanks for dropping in and commenting.

Oh, how could I not have seen that!  Funny how we look at something and just don't see it staring us in the face.

Giggles - I love this, now that you explained it.

And, by the way - you weren't trying to be funny - you WERE being funny!

LOL... I have to appreciate an irony in this, Eric.  Some years ago, my daughter suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm and was life flighted to the trauma center at OHSU for surgery.

I was staying with relatives in the city, but I didn't sleep for days. During night hours,  I would sit on a loveseat near a window looking out at a frosty moon over the sleeping neighborhood. The hours seemed interminable. They had an old dog named Smokey.  From the time I got there, as long as I was in the house, Smokey never left me.  He would come lay his muzzle on my knee as I sat there.  If I lay down, he would lie on the floor next to the bed. Dyslexia, insomnia, insanity, and a broken heart;  I had them all..... and a dog.  No guitars or romance in the scenario, but pure TLC.

My daughter recovered.  You bring back the memory of a miracle.  And I think the dog was, too!

Love this bit of humor!
