Rain drops weeping on the cold, clear glass
Angel sages weave in life-long tapestries
Proper in their dreamscapes, flowing in soft floes
Cupping their hands to cold-catch majesties

Of life-torn reveries cool to the touch
In explosions of grandeur soft to the feel
Like melted wax candles without their wicks
Losing their mettle, relinquishing appeal

And cloud-bursts of sorrow reign with aplomb
Poise-letters abundant with grammars of ease
Soft voices calling o’er passages askance
While billows of wisp-clouds seek to appease

Shorelines of distance as rain drops weep
And clouds form again from what they did seep

Good writing, steavenr.

Creating a diversion within the mind to keep from wandering down the same old path of pain and misery is a time-honored way to exercise your mental capabilities.

Steaven, you turn sorrow and acute nostalgia, particularly in this poem, into a beauty to be savoured slowly, word, syllable, image, concept by word, syllable, image, concept.

Reading this for me was a greater luxury than eating fried mushrooms (my favourite food in all the world) slowly and with my taste buds singing, followed by soft-centred coffee chocolates (my second-favourite food) eaten with almost the same passion.  It was like that glorious feeling of sinking on to my bed after 20 hours of physical and mental work - however, that feeling only lasts a few seconds because I fall asleep before my head hits the pillow, almost before I get my legs into bed.

I am sorry for your sadness, but look at what you did with it, as Jerry said!
