LINES
14 June 2011

Sometimes the world
is so wrapped in curves
that it forgets
the enchantment
of lines
like the steadfast truth
of the parallels of a spanner -
or the magic of rail-road tracks
fading into the distance
to join out of sight.

Geometry has always fascinated me ... and your poem speaks to me of its wonders.

Your visions are a gift.

Me, too, Margherita, about geometry.  Your replies are always a delight for the eye, heart and mind - as is your poetry - and many of your replies are poetry in themselves.  Thank you for your kind words.

Damn, Owl, this is downright, as we used to say back in tha day, heavy, man, heavy.

Giggles, Jerry.  I remember those days too!  Reminds me of a poem I wrote a good few years ago which had something like "cool, man, cool" in it.
