Wake up, o my soul
To rivers of delight

Sing praises and extol
Life’s glist’ning light

Hearken and belay
The hemp-held thread

That binds heart’s fray
Into well-scenes fed

Like apples of nectar
In thought-glances pure

The sun rises, then races its course
