A fog covered the area he picked out
For his wandering, shameful, midnight route.
The braying of dogs off in the distance
Seemed to lend credence, offer assistance.

Treading quietly, bathed by the moonlight
Overhead brightly, it almost looked white.
Heart beat loud, with rapid palpitations
Was he going through with this temptation?

He paused, for a little time to reflect
Not give a clue he was a rape suspect.
His pounding heart and his twisted desire
Made his mission not that of a church choir.

He knew his goal, that was a natural fact
And he knew too that the shades would be cracked.
The woman was willing to play the part
Made peeping more an affair of the heart.

Nearing the house he began to get hyper,
Is this how you feel when you're a sniper?
Mouth dry, hands shaky like he had a disease,
He picked up his step though weak in his knees.

Soon he stood beneath an hanging elm tree
So overwrought he thought he would flee.
Yes, she goes along with the dangerous game
Titillating this peeper is her aim.

The shades are open like they always were
Was all he could do not to shout at her
Blinds set at an angle for him to see
Just for a quick moment he wanted to flee.

No, instead, he watched for a good long while
Then climbed in a window with a smile.
Silently crept down the hall where she was
Pounding inside his head made his ears buzz.

With heart in his throat, he walked up to her
And from then on everything was a blur.
He smiled like always when their game was done,
But said, "Lila!  Why are you pointing that gun?"

Haha! I gotcha, DS. Those who don't close drapes is where I got the idea to write this little ditty. Thanks.
