Dance for me kiss my wounds
Make me whole for tonight

Pick me up let me down
You are my world my mystery

I followed my shadow
And so there you lay

Brightness haloed
that perfect face

I was not there
I saw through his eyes

The sun came up
Another lost sunrise

To take a lot of pain,
take a lot of pain
Love is like a cloud,
holds a lot of rain

That's a hard pill to swallow.
You set this up so well. I could read the blues.

Reads like a dream that doesn't come true,
but still worth the dream, if you know what I mean.
