a woman's face wears many masks
her precious secrets to conceal
so a man may sit and ponder
if what he sees is truely real

he's a very clear-headed man
who takes his time and sets his goal
he's sure to see the masks diverge
as he taps on the door to her soul

ms faith...welcome..your observations are accurate I think...and the masks are sometimes covered with the sincerest of skin.

Your first stanza has such truth, and your second stanza describes a kind of man thats hard to come by.

First, welcome...this is a good place to both come to and come back to...now your write...loved the title (what drew me in to read it...and glad I did)...and my favorite lines were "he's sure to see the masks diverge
as he taps on the door to her soul" ...an excellent conclusion to a lovely write
