Life is like
a roller coaster.
It has a
chicken exit.

Life teaches us that love does not exist simply because we gaze at each other ... it grows because our gaze is fixed upon the same horizon ... If we want to share the same rainbow, we learn the dance steps, together, in the rain.

I've never seen a roller coaster with a chicken exit.
However, I have seen people on a roller coaster holding hands and screaming and then laughing at the end of the ride only to reflect on it as worth the time.

Leaving a relationship leads you straight to another set of problems.
I do not know all the facts but do know you're a very sensitive tender person.

Take care

Seems everyone but me knew what you were talking about, Lori. It is humbling to be among such stalwarts, because I'm still scratching my head.

Jerry, the chicken exit is the little door they have right before you get on the rollercoaster that lets you leave without going on the ride...it lets you bail out at the last minute if you don't think you can handle the ride.

Eric-thanks for the complements...In reality I can't do roller coasters- scaring the beegeesus out of me kind of defeats the purpose of avoiding anxiety attacks.

This is about relationships? I thought it was on suicide IMHO.

Trina, you are correct, it was not about relationships.

Well, my apologies Lori.
I learned something here. Roller coasters do really have a chicken exit.
The last posts previous to this one scare the hell out of me. To think a lovely young woman would even consider.

Take care and I can only hope this is a poetic expression and not a reality.

If it comes close to being possible, reach out there's many hearts here for you to talk to.

Eric, bless your heart, I'm okay.  Thank you for your concern.  Sorry to have worried you.  It is more about how I feel than what I want to do.

Since it has been at least sixty years since I have been on a roller coaster, Lori, I don't feel so bad now that I seemed, and was, dumbfounded.

Thanks Ida for your comment, it made me think about it in a broader sense and it is interesting.
