Sugar And Spice

Now Tashie's our family's brainiac
There is no game that girl cannot play.
She even beat the clerk at the game store,
As he stood there saying, "No Way!"

She's as cute as a button, as they say,
And as sweet inside as she is out,
Always willing to help with a smile,
We hardly ever see her pout.

A social butterfly; everyone just loves her,
She's like her mother, sweet in every way.
So popular with all her soccer buddies,
And the kids at school, when she's at play.

What a combination, having beauty and brains,
With that genetic pool, she will go really far,
Once she took apart my DVD player, and fixed it!
I bet that little girl could even drive a car!

Still, Tasha is our cuddly-feely child,
She's sure a snugglemeister supreme,
The kind of child every parent wishes for,
Raising her has been a dream!

She is loved by all, and she loves back,
Without any reservations, or with doubt.
How lucky am I to have a grandchild,
Where love is all what it's about.

Love,
Gramma

"TWICE!"

And I'm smiling, as I recall that story about her ingenuity with a pail and shovel...

What's not to love? Send my love to the family, k? And tell Todd that someday, maybe, he and I can cook Italian for Brenda. *chuckle*

Talk about inspiration!

Sharon, you truly are blessed with two lovely granddaughters ~ and they are equally blessed to have a "Gramma" such as yourself. What a beautiful family ~ from the inside out.

Tasha is as bright and beautiful as you are!

A delightful poem and one that is surely going to be treasured by her!

Love & Christmas Light,

Linda

How beautiful! "a snugglemeister supreme," is a great tag for your precious little granddaughter. Your love and enjoyment of her shows in every word. She will treasure this forever, dear Gramma. I know I sure enjoyed it.

Thank you all for your precious comments.  I just got rid of those two.  They have been here for a couple of days, so their parents could shop and attend Christmas parties.  I wish they could come 2 days a week, every week, we had fun doing crafts, cooking, baking and "girl stuff."

Aw, your piece is as sweet as that little grand-daughter.  Don't you think she takes after her Grandma?
