Thank the Lord for miracles.
Thank the Lord for prayer.
Thank the Lord for strength
that finds him over there.

Thank the Lord for guidance.
Thank the Lord for warmth.
Thank the Lord that keeps us
and helps us through the storm.

Thank the Lord for family.
Thank the Lord for life.
Thank the Lord for safety
that keeps my own alive.

Thank the Lord for blessings.
Thank the Lord for light.
Thank the Lord for friends
that keep away the night.

Thank the Lord for angels.
Thank God for this land.
Thank the Lord for brothers
fighting in Afghanistan.

Thank the Lord he's safe
defending what he must.
Thank the Lord for freedom
for in our Lord we trust.
