~*~
You were my summer mystery.
A heat wave
drawing me in
with your succulent
sweet
seduction
sweltering.
You were the blue moon rising
setting the stage in overtones
a rendezvous review
after hour dreams.

Thank you for being so gracious and for always taking the time to read me, Margherita.

Ummm D~  What goes on after hours stays that way. Ours and hours goes both ways. Thanks for looking.

"you were my summer mystery"

Perfect beginning.  So much said in so few words.

Neat and sweet, enjoyed the read.

Hi Bluesy!

It's great to read this sensuous poem!  I could pass up a title like that without checking it out, and I'm glad I did!  Awesome!

...left in hollows on the the beach
as we went our separate ways.
So strong the heart, so fleeting the heat,
so lasting the memories.

Much enjoyed...

I enjoy your alliteration.

And more poems need the word "succulent" in them. lol

Good grief how did I miss this one?  This reminded me of Mrs. Robinson.  I can dream can't I?
