For A Moment

I listened to you speak and heard
    Someone I never knew.
I was very impressed, and liked her
    And I thought I saw your mind
         For, a moment.

I saw you in a different light
    Intense, yet gentle to the eye.
The aura about you, changed
    And I thought I saw your heart
         For, a moment.

But, I heard you so much clearer
    When you read, those words, you wrote.
I was entranced by your presence
    And I thought I saw your soul
         For, a moment.
