It was a rainy night,
so of course I would dream of
rain.
It glazed the streets,
roofs, cars and minds.
It rained empty on
my window pane,
danced like fire touching
clay, or like leaves
being lead by the wind.
I listen to the wind,
that compete's with thunder
on who shall shatter
the world. Who would
bring someone to their
knees. Or who would
bring people closer
that has been left alone
on night's like this. I stare
out into the rainy night
filled with heavy
rain, until my eyes open
within the sunrise
