6 billions of human beings,
the Earth can’t bear it,
7 billions,
8 billions,
9 billions,
10 billions,
11 billions,
12 billions,
don’t you believe
it is time right now
to control ciphers
and don’t let Earth
overcrowded
and perishing,
at 12 it will be too late.

may be it is a repost I don't know, the haiku of Margherita made me think of this one I wrote a year ago, we have to manage earth ressources and population for surviving our human specie, rather obvious now.

Dear Yann, thank you for sharing your wise  reminder.
Yes, above all we have to manage the resources!
If we (almost all the countries of the world) would stop spending money on weapons of destruction, war equipment and invest instead money in better distribution of resources, in education, in scientific researches on every level, space projects included, I think the overpopulation would not be the problem at all.
We are meant to evolve, we are meant to live in peace, we are meant to find solutions. We are meant to space travel ...

We are not meant exclusively to study the secrets of our personal success, we are meant to study the secrets of the POWER OF LOVE. Let us begin by sharing Earth's blessings ...

If young couples stop having children the world will become a place of old people and new problems arise ....

Food for thought, no doubt, dear Yann!

Love,
Margherita

hello Margherita, I don't agrre with you on this point, the Earth is a limited place so must have a limited population, it can be controlled like in european countries I think....You know there is a site called worldmeters that is very true and impressive about the ciphers of the earth...The more there will be people, the less there will be forests and you probably know that fishing will end in 2030 because of the lack of fish....This is my opinion and I think humanity is crazy right now but I have hopes that things will favorably evolve...Thanks for your important comment.

regards

yann

Yes Yann, how right you are, I am so very mutch glad that I have lived in the time

that I have. I fear for my grand-children for the world just cannot go on the way we are at the moment. May God help us all.
