Evening sunlight,
ancient trees,

Swaying in
the lazy breeze

That flows throughout
the sunshine haze,

As life breathes in
the summer craze

That gently roll
in playful grace,

That seem as if
they'll always stay.

Burnished sunset,
russet tan,

Glides across
the golden land.

Painting hues
in ochre skies

That awe, inspire,
and glorify.

I had to look to see where you live....LOL.  I have been longing to see such color on these seemingly perpetual rainy gray days.   You brought summer glory right back to me with the trees silhouetted in a blazing evening sky.  The Christmas lights are going up, however, and the bright displays are joyful to behold.

Thank you for sharing!  ~KL
